It is the dazzling South Carolina sun that inspires so many of us to seek a shady place in which to create items of beauty and function. In my shady spot, I design and make jewelry. South Carolina's amazingly varied landscape--everything from the ocean, to subtropical gardens, to majestic mountains--is my inspiration. As a result, my preference is to work with natural materials, such as pearls, gemstones, and sterling silver.
